(WDAY Radio) -- Spring allergies are hitting many people hard this year.

Pharmacists across North Dakota say they've been seeing many people coming in looking for relief from runny noses, sneezing, and congestion. Experts say a very high pollen count in North Dakota this spring is the cause of the symptoms.

Pharmacists say the best way to combat spring allergies is to stay ahead of the curve by taking allergy medications well before symptoms start.
