ND vehicle crash data sees dip compared to 2023

BISMARCK, ND — North Dakota Highway Patrol data shows a decrease in fatal crashes across the state in 2024.

From January to June of last year, there were 31 crashes and 41 deaths. So far this year, there have been 24 crashes and 27 deaths.

Authorities say they hope publishing the data will bring down the rate of fatal crashes on North Dakota’s roads even more.
