(Bismarck, ND) — Following the retirement of North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources director Lynn Helms, his replacement could be announced soon.
A search committee is expected to name finalists for the position this week.
Interviews will be held during the upcoming Industrial Commission meeting on July 30th.
The committee says at least seven applicants were interested.
Helms stepped down from the position in June after serving as director for 26 years.
