LISTEN: Rep. Julie Fedorchak’s conversation with The Flag’s Steve Hallstrom
WASHINGTON – North Dakota Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak has gotten criticism for announcing she’s not attending the North Dakota Republican Party’s convention.
On The Flag, Fedorchak said her decision was based on her demanding schedule and prioritizing her work in Washington which includes work on a farm bill, health care reform, tax cuts, regulatory reform and helping the energy sector.
“Attending a convention that was going to be very sparsely attended and spending the money on that versus focusing on the primary election, it really came down to that,” Fedorchak explained on “The Steve Hallstrom Show”.
In 2024 Fedorchak went to the NDGOP convention, but lost the endorsement to Alex Balazs. He’s also running for the Republican nomination this year.
