S.D. abortion pill campaign leads to cease & desist order

PIERRE, S.D. – South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley threatens to sue an abortion rights group over abortion pill ads at gas stations across the state.

Mayday Health’s signs were set on top of gas pumps with a link to its website.

Jackley issued a cease-and-desist letter to Mayday telling them to immediately pull their ads.

Abortion is banned in South Dakota and is considered a felony.
