Sanford Health to build a clinic in Hawley

HAWLEY, Minn. – Sanford Health and Hawley Medical Campus, LLC have announced plans to build a 9,000 square foot clinic in Hawley.

It will be in the Petermann 2nd Addition on U.S. Highway 10 on the western edge of town.

The clinic will have 32 units of independent living and a 16-unit memory care facility that will be independently operated. Sanford Health and Hawley Medical Campus said the owner of those facilities will be announced in the future.

“This is a big moment for Hawley to be able to reinvest in the health of our community,” Developer and land partner of Grow Hawley, LLC Austin Peterson said. “The opportunity to create jobs, while also taking care of our aging population, is huge. Sanford has been a great partner to work with as we’ve been planning this project for the past two years, and we’re excited to bring it to life.”

“We are proud to partner with Grow Hawley, LLC, on the new development project in Hawley. It is our intention to make a portion of the project the future home of our Sanford Hawley Clinic,” Sanford Health Fargo Chief Operating Officer Susan Jarvis said. “We are still in the early stages of the planning process and are excited for this meaningful opportunity to expand our services in the community, and elevating our promise to deliver world-class health care close to home.”
