Two people stabbed in Fargo, suspect arrested

FARGO, N.D. – Fargo Police say two people were stabbed early this morning.

Neighborhood Services Division Lieutenant Cristie Jacobsen said officers responded to a stabbing in the 1200 block of 2nd Avenue South at 12:45 a.m.

The two people who were stabbed are receiving medical care. Both are stable with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have arrested 34-year-old Maverick Herald, of Fargo, on two counts of aggravated assault.

Jacobsen said there was an initial report of a third victim with an injury related to the stabbing, but officers were able to determine there was no third victim.

Police say there’s no threat to the public.
