WEST FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A West Fargo man was sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of sexually abusing a child.
Court documents say police were contacted in July of 2025 after the victim told an adult they were scared of being in the same room as Nicolas Wika.
The victim stated that Wika had asked to touch them multiple times, and then told the child not to tell anyone.
Wika was arrested on July 16, 2025 and charged with three counts of gross sexual imposition, counts one and two being class AA felonies, and count three being a class FA felony.
On March 31, 2026, Wika was sentenced to life in prison on counts one and two, and 20 years for count three.
According to ND courts, Wika will be eligible to have his sentenced considered for parole after serving 30 years.
