(East Grand Forks, MN) -- After Fergus Falls' mask mandate expired Monday, another Northwest Minnesota city has followed suit.
The East Grand Forks School District announced after a vote by their school board Monday evening that their K-6 mask mandate will now switch to a 'strong recommendation'. The move, which is to Level 2 of the district's mitigation strategy levels, also loosens restrictions for visitors and protocols for social distancing students during lunch.
