(St. Andrews, Scotland) -- Tiger Woods isn't happy with golf pros who have chosen to join the Saudi-backed LIV Golf Invitational Series.

After a practice round Monday ahead of the British Open, the 15-time Majors champion said he believes LIV commissioner Greg Norman has damaged the game and that players who moved from the PGA Tour "have turned their backs on what has allowed them to get to this position."

It's uncertain whether LIV players will ever get official World Golf Ranking points, leaving them out of the four Major tournaments, the U.S. and British Opens, the Masters, and the PGA Championship.

Woods said, "I don't understand it."
