(Fargo, ND) -- We're now learning more about a local teacher who is officially facing charges involving inappropriate behavior with a student.
It's a story we've been following for you since the weekend, as Fargo South Band Teacher Sebastian Tackling was formally charged in Cass County Court Monday with corruption of a minor and possession of child pornography.
Court documents show police found Tackling lying on an air mattress with a student in the back of a vehicle in Riverwood park back in June. Charges were filed on behalf of the girl late last week after she reported that they were involved in a sexual relationship. The girl says the relationship began when she was 17-years-old and that they sent explicit photos and videos to each other.
Tackling, who has been with the district for over 12 years, is currently on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation into these charges.
