(New York, NY) -- Fox says it settled its Dominion Voting Systems defamation lawsuit for close to 800-million-dollars to "buy peace."
An attorney for the news corporation wrote in a letter to the judge that Fox wanted to end the "continued media spectacle" of the case.
She added that Fox is still against news organizations filing motions to unseal redacted material in court filings that amount to thousands of pages.
