Faber named NHL's Rookie of the Month

(St. Paul, MN) -- Brock Faber is being recognized for his superb play last month.

The Wild defenseman was named the NHL Rookie of the Month for January yesterday. Faber beat out New Jersey defenseman Simon Nemec and Coyotes center Logan Cooley, among others. He had two goals and 11 assists in 14 games in January.

In other team news, forward Kirill Kaprizov is set to represent Minnesota at All-Star Weekend in Toronto this weekend.
