Packers Running Back Suspended First Two Games Of 2018

The NFL has suspended Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones for the first two games of the 2018 season for violation of the league's Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported the news earlier https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1014236791984058368.

Jones had a surprisingly productive rookie season in 2017. As part of a committee backfield for the Packers Jones rushed for 448 yards and four touchdowns despite only starting four games. He finished the year averaging 5.5 yards per carry.

The first two games of the season for Green Bay are at home against Chicago and home against Minnesota.
