(WDAY Radio) — North Dakota Game and Fish is reminding boaters to watch for zebra mussels.
The invasive species attach to boats and grow rapidly once in lakes, which can block pipelines and damage the local ecosystem.
You’re urged to thoroughly clean, drain, and dry your boat before you take it out on the water to prevent the mussels from spreading.
