Friday Student Athlete of the day: Tatum Brooks of West Fargo Swim & Dive

The West Fargo Packers Swim team finished 4th at the Class A State meet last week and a big reason why was Junior Tatum Brooks who scored 28 pts for the Packers. Tatum won a state championship as a part of the 200 Medley relay and swam a personal best in her 50 meter fly leg for West Fargo.

Tatum continued her excellent state meet by placing third in the state in in the 100 meter fly and 7th in the 100 meter Breast Stroke. Tatum also anchored the 200 meter free relay that placed third. She swims year round for the West Fargo Flyers and has lettered in Track for the packers in the spring. In the classroom she has 3.87 GPA. Head Coach Barb Fisher says “Tatum works very hard and her teammates look up to her. She is also the biggest cheerleader for all of her teammates, standing next to her at a meet means you might not hear the next day.

For her excellence in the pool and in the classroom, today’s Packers Student Athlete of the Day is Junior Tatum Brooks and is brought to you by West Fargo Events and Dakota Tire Brakes and More.
