Bison Men's Basketball follows up football team with resounding win

East Tennessee State came to Fargo with 5 straight wins and an 8-1 record on the season, also ranked #3 in the Mid Major top 25 but it was the North Dakota State Bison's night as the Bison used a fast start that ultimately lead to a 78-68 NDSU win. The Bison never trailed in the contest and used 8 3-pointers and an aggressive attack that resulted in 26 made free throws to pull away from the Buccaneers.

4 players scored in double figures for the Bison as Tyson Ward and Rocky Kreuser lead the NDSU with 17 points each, Cameron Hunter had 14 and Vinny Shahid had 11.

ETSU had to overcome a slow start offensively scoring just 25 in the first half but picked it up in the 2nd thanks to Bo Hodges leading the Buccanneers with 23.

The win improves the Bison record to 6-4 and ETSU falls to 8-2.

Next up for NDSU is a road contest at CSU Northridge on Wednesday.
