One of the biggest games of the upcoming NDSU Bison football season has been canceled.
According to NDSU Assistant Athletic Director and Director of Communications, Ryan Perreault, the NDSU football game against the Oregon Ducks, scheduled to be the season opener on September 5 in Eugene, Oregon, has been canceled as a result of the PAC-12 decision to eliminate non-conference play this fall.
Perreault says Athletic Director Matt Larsen has indicated that both of the Bison’s home non-conference games, with Drake and North Carolina A&T, are still on as scheduled.
NDSU Football Coach Matt Entz was not immediately available for comment Friday evening.
