In a video announcement on Twitter earlier Tuesday, NDSU sophomore quarterback Trey Lance announced his intention to declare for the 2021 National Football League Draft.
The announcement was confirmed in an evening press conference by NDSU head coach Matt Entz.
"Our entire football program, staff and support people, were looking forward to this and really excited for his next journey," Entz said.
