The Masters third round suspended

(Augusta, GA) -- The third round of the Masters Golf tournament is being suspended for the rest of Saturday. Rain and wind soaked the Augusta course and play was suspended just hours after golfers teed off. The tournament was suspended twice on Friday due to inclement weather and several trees falling on the course.

With Saturday's full day suspension and Sunday's forecast looking grim, the completion of the final round is now up in the air. The Masters has not finished on a Monday since 1983 but with players so far behind, Monday golf is a possibility.

Brooks Koepka is currently in the lead at 13 under par with Jon Rahm in second at nine under par and Amateur Sam Bennett sitting in thir at six under par.

Play is set to resume Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m.
