(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Timberwolves overcame a 14-point deficit and intra-team turmoil to take down the New Orleans Pelicans 113-108 in Minnesota.

During a rough first half, Wolves center Rudy Gobert threw a punch at teammate Kyle Anderson. The Wolves sent Gobert home after the altercation. At halftime, Jaden McDaniels punched a wall and fractured his hand.

Gobert and McDaniels both missed the second half, but Karl-Anthony Towns poured in 30 points while Anthony Edwards added 26 to lead the Wolves to victory. Minnesota finishes the season as the eight-seed in the play-in tournament, and they'll need to win one of two potential games in order to make the playoffs.

Brandon Ingram scored a game-high 42 points in the losing effort. The Pelicans have the nine-seed and will have to win two straight games to see the playoffs.

After the game Kyle Anderson spoke to media about his incident with Rudy Gobert.

The Wolves will visit the Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday night in the NBA play-in tournament. Tip is scheduled for 9 p.m. with game coverage available on TNT. The winner of this game will be the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference Playoffs and will take on No. 2 seed Memphis in the Conference Quarterfinals.
