University of North Dakota head hockey coach Brad Berry announced the addition of transfer forward Cameron Berg on Tuesday. The West Fargo, N.D. native, has two seasons of eligibility remaining entering the 2022-23 season.

The first two seasons of Berg’s collegiate career were spent at Omaha, where he appeared in 74 out of a possible 75 games. He totaled 47 points on 18 goals and 29 assists for the Mavericks.

Head coach Brad Berry expressed his thoughts on the new addition, “We are excited to bring Cameron into our program.” He continued, “His experience playing at the NCHC level and helping his former program to unparalleled success will be an asset for us at North Dakota.”

Berg was selected by the New York Islanders in the fourth round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.

He joins defenseman Garrett Pyke on North Dakota’s list of acquired transfers this offseason.
