NBA Play-In Tournament: Bulls defeat Raptors, Thunder down Pelicans

(Undated) -- Two teams had their seasons come to an end on the second day of the NBA's play-in tournament.

The Chicago Bulls downed the Raptors 109-105 at Scotiabank Arena to send Toronto packing for the offseason. Zach LaVine exploded for 39 points while Nikola Vucevic posted a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. The Bulls will now take on the Miami Heat in South Beach on Friday for the East's eighth seed.

Out west, Oklahoma City's big three of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey and Lu Dort combined for 90 points in a 123-118 victory over the Pelicans in New Orleans. The Thunder will travel north to battle the Minnesota Timberwolves for the West's eighth seed on Friday.
