(New York, NY) -- Gerrit Cole continued his torrid start to the season as the Yankees blanked the Twins 2-0 at Yankee Stadium.
Cole struck out 10 and surrendered just two hits in a complete game shutout. The Yankees ace improved to 4-0 with the dominant performance. DJ LeMahieu paced the Yankees at the plate, going two-for-four with a home run and two RBI.
Pablo Lopez fell to 1-1 after giving up two runs on seven hits in six innings.
The Twins will begin a three game series at the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday.
