Five NFL players suspended for sports betting

(New York, NY) -- Five NFL players are being suspended for betting on sports.

The league announced on Friday that four players from the Detroit Lions and one for the Washington Commanders were caught violating the NFL's gambling policy.

Lions' receivers Jameson Williams and Stanley Berryhill are suspended for the first six games of the season. Quintez Cephus and C.J. Moore of the Lions and Shaka Toney of the Commanders have all been suspended indefinitely.
