On Tuesday afternoon the Minnesota Vikings made quite possibly the franchises least surprising decision in recent memory. The organization picked up Pro Bowl wide receiver Justin Jefferson’s fifth-year option.
During his three seasons in the NFL, Jefferson has racked up 324 receptions with 4,825 yards, and 25 touchdowns in 50 career games. In each season he has increased his number of catches and total receiving yards.
The 2022 NFL Offensive Player of the Year will earn around $19.7 million on his fifth-year option set for the 2024 season.
