The United States Hockey League and Fargo Force announced that Nick Oliver has been named Coach of the Year for the 2022-23 season.

The USHL Coach of the Year Award is voted on by each member club’s General Manager. Oliver joins former Fargo Force Head Coach Dean Blais as the only Force coaches to be awarded the Coach of the Year honor.

In his first season as head coach, Oliver has led the Force to a record number of wins (40) and the team's first ever Anderson Cup, which is awarded to the team with the best regular season record. The Force are currently in the Western Conference Finals and have a 1-0 series lead against Lincoln. Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals is tonight at Scheels Arena at 7:05 PM.
