Minnesota United fall to Vancouver

(Vancouver, BC) -- The Minnesota United extended their MLS winless streak to five matches with a 3-2 loss to Vancouver at BC Place on Saturday.

The Loons got a goal from Michael Boxall in the 33rd minute, and the match was tied going into the half. However, Vancouver scored twice in four minutes during the second-half. Jeong Sang-bin was able to find the back of the net for the United in the 65th minute, but the Loons weren't able to knock in the equalizer. Minnesota is eighth in the Western Conference with 12 points.

The United host Philadelphia in the US Open Cup on Tuesday, May 9 beginning at 7:30 p.m.

In other club news, Emmanuel Reynoso has returned to Minnesota and should re-join the team in the coming weeks.
