(New York, NY) -- Major League Baseball is launching a social impact platform for fans.
"MLB Together" will provide resources for mental health, workforce development and voting education. As part of the program, the league is also offering a free Crisis Text Line that will connect fans with confidential mental health and crisis support in English and Spanish. A mental health awareness video featuring several MLB players will also be played in ballparks.
Commissioner Rob Manfred said, "MLB Together represents the very best of what our sport means to our fans and our communities."
