San Francisco expected to host Super Bowl 60

(San Francisco, CA) -- The Super Bowl could be heading back to the Bay Area. The Athletic reports San Francisco is expected to be awarded the rights to host Super Bowl 60 in 2026.

The official vote is scheduled to take place next week with the expectation being that the game will be played at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara. San Francisco previously hosted Super Bowl 50 back in 2016.

The next two Super Bowls are already scheduled with 58 taking place in Las Vegas in 2024 and 59 slated for New Orleans in 2025.
