On Tuesday evening the Minnesota Twins and San Francisco Giants squared off in the second game of their three game series.
The Twins would strike first on a Byron Buxton 408 foot two-run homer, his 10th home run of the season. Michael A. Taylor added a solo home run in the fifth inning. This was Taylor’s sixth homer of the season and it traveled 389 feet. The Twins led 3-0.

The Giants would walk in two runs in the sixth inning, cutting Minnesota’s lead to 3-2. In the seventh inning, Michael Conforto hit a 373 foot two-run homer giving San Francisco a 4-3 lead it wouldn’t give up.
Sonny Gray tossed five innings, giving up two runs with six strikeouts in a no-decision.

The Twins will look to avoid being swept on Wednesday afternoon with first pitch set for 12:10 p.m. Joe Ryan will be on the bump for Minnesota.
