The top-overall seed in the Western Conference blew out the Panthers 7-2 in Game Two from Las Vegas. Jonathan Marchessault and Brett Howden each scored a pair of goals while Alec Martinez, Nicolas Roy and Michael Amadio also lit the lamp. Adin Hill made 29 saves for Vegas, which is up 2-0 in the best of seven series.
Anton Lundell and Matthew Tkachuk each scored for Florida while Sergei Bobrovsky was pulled in the second period after allowing four goals on 13 shots.
The Panthers are hoping to avoid a 3-0 deficit when the series shifts to Sunrise for Game Three on Thursday.
