(Eagan, MN) -- The Minnesota Vikings began mandatory mini-camp at TCO Performance Center yesterday.
While Danielle Hunter remained true to his word and skipped the first day of camp while waiting for a new contract, wide receiver Justin Jefferson was in attendance after missing organized team activities over the last three weeks. Jefferson told reporters that he missed the voluntary training sessions because he "had a lot of stuff going on." The wide receiver and the Vikings have been working on a contract extension after the team picked up Jefferson's fifth-year option in April, but Jefferson said that he would be at training camp next month even if he doesn't have a new contract.
