(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves are locking down one of their top big-men.

ESPN is reporting the team signed center Naz Reid to a three-year deal worth $42 million on Sunday. The contract also includes a player option for its third season. Reid was set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. He's spent the last four seasons playing an integral role off Minnesota's bench.

Last year, he averaged 11.5 points and nearly five boards per game before fracturing his wrist in March.
