Timberwolves cut veteran Forward Prince

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Timberwolves are clearing some cap space.

Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the team will not pick up Taurean Prince’s option for the 2023-24 season. Prince was owed $7.5 million dollars for next year if he stayed on the roster. Instead, he becomes an unrestricted free agent.

The 29-year-old started four of his 54 appearances and averaged 9.1 points per game last season.
