United beat FC Kaiserslautern

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota United picked up a 2-1 victory in a friendly against German-side FC Kaiserslautern at Allianz Field.

Kaiserslautern scored first with a goal in the fifth minute, but Mender Garcia tied the match in the 21st minute. The Loons took the lead for good on a goal from Sang Bin Jeong just three minutes later.

The United return to MLS play with a match against Portland on Saturday.
