(Oakland, CA) -- Domingo German threw the 24th perfect game in MLB history as the Yankees blanked the Athletics 11-0 in Oakland.
German needed just 99 pitches to record the first perfect game since Felix Hernandez in 2012. It's the fourth perfect game in Yankees franchise history. German struck out nine and earned his fifth win of the season.
Giancarlo Stanton homered and drove in three runs as New York improved to 44-36.
JP Sears was charged the loss after giving up seven runs, five earned, over four frames. The A's have lost 11 of their last 13 games.
