(Minneapolis, MN) — The Twins are sending Jorge Lopez packing. Minnesota sent the reliever to the Miami Marlins yesterday in exchange for reliever Dylan Floro.
Minnesota acquired Lopez from Baltimore last year in a deal that sent out 2023 All-Star Yennier Cano, but he has a 5.09 ERA this season. Meanwhile, Floro is 3-and-5 with a 4.54 ERA and 41 strikeouts in 39-and-two-thirds innings.
