(Houston, TX) -- Framber Valdez tossed the 16th no-hitter in Astros' team history to lead Houston to a 2-0 win over the Cleveland Guardians at Minute Maid Park. Valdez earned his ninth win with seven strikeouts and one walk in the historic 93-pitch performance.
Kyle Tucker drove in both runs for Houston on a single in the third inning. The Astros have won three of four and sit second in the AL West at 61-47.
Cleveland's rookie starter Gavin Williams was charged the loss after allowing two earned through five innings. The Guardians have lost four-of-five to slip to 53-55.
