"We have to give it our all": Ashley Gustavson on how the Dragons can advance in the NSIC Tournament

MOORHEAD, Minn. -- WZFG "The Flag" Radio announced today that the station has entered into an agreement with MSU Moorhead Athletics to air a "Game of the Week" for the upcoming football and basketball seasons.
The games will be broadcast on WZFG Radio, AM 1100 and FM 92.3 in the Red River Valley, as well as its audio streams on smart speaker, mobile app, and desktop.
WZFG Radio Sports personalities James McCarty and Jace Denman will bring play-by-play action to listeners for the school's football games on Saturdays and the weekly men's and women's basketball doubleheaders on Saturdays. The coverage will include the football season opener at Wayne State on Thursday, August 31st.
"We're excited to add live sports coverage to our Saturday lineup this upcoming school year with programs that are such a big part of our local sports history," says Flag Family Media President Steve Hallstrom. "We have gotten to know the coaches and administrators at MSUM over the years and enjoyed carrying some thrilling moments this past basketball season during the men's basketball tournament run. We look forward to sharing more of those moments with our audience."
The coverage will consist of all Saturday games, both home and away for the football and basketball seasons.

"The coverage last winter during the NSIC basketball championships was a great success, and I can't wait for the 'Game of the Week' to cover our home and away football contests as well as our Saturday basketball games. Dragon fans will have another way to follow along live with our Dragons and can listen to James and Jace with a Dragon flavor to the broadcast. The coverage from Bemidji to Bismarck and Winnipeg to Watertown covers a large portion of our Dragon fans and alumni. What a great time to be a Dragon!"
The schedule will include regular season and postseason games. Game coverage will include a pregame and postgame show each week.
