(Washington, DC) -- The Minnesota Lynx got down early and couldn't come back during an 83-72 loss to the Washington Mystics at Entertainment and Sports Arena.
Minnesota took a brief lead in the first quarter, but Washington was up by ten at the end of the period. The Lynx closed the gap in the third before the Mystics took control. Diamond Miller scored 25 points in the losing effort.
Minnesota is tied for sixth-place in the WNBA at 17-19. The Lynx take on Atlanta on Friday.
