(Eagan, MN) -- The Vikings might have something to celebrate before they kick off Week One against Tampa Bay on Sunday.
Ben Goessling is reporting that the team is closing on an extension with wide receiver Justin Jefferson. Goessling says that the deal looks like it could be "done by this weekend."
The 2020 first-round pick caught 128 passes for 1,809 yards and eight touchdowns for Minnesota last season.
