(Kansas City, KS) -- Tyler Reddick punched his ticket to the next round of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs following a victory in the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway.
The driver of the No. 45 car edged Denny Hamlin by less than half a second in overtime to claim the all-important win. Hamlin finished second while Erik Jones, Kyle Larson and Joey Logano rounded out the top five finishers. An elimination race is on tap next weekend when the field heads to Bristol Motor Speedway for the Bass Pro Shops Night Race.
Four drivers in the Round of 16 will be cut from playoff contention.
