ST. LOUIS - North Dakota State placekicker Griffin Crosa was named Missouri Valley Football Conference Special Teams Player of the Week by the league office Monday, Sept. 11. It is his third career player of the week honor.

Crosa, a senior from Dublin, Ohio, converted three field goals and five extra-point kicks in North Dakota State’s 44-7 home win over Maine. Crosa connected from 27, 40 and 31 yards to help the Bison open a 9-0 lead in the first half.

The five PATs extended Crosa's streak to 99 made in a row, eighth most in MVFC history. His 14-point game is a league high for a kicker this season.

No. 2-ranked North Dakota State (2-0) is scheduled to host Central Arkansas (1-1) at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Gate City Bank at the Fargodome.
