Middleton named Summit League Offensive Peak Performer of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Junior outside hitter Morgan Middleton has been named the TicketSmarter Summit League Offensive Peak Performer of the Week for the first time in her career, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Middleton helped the Bison to a 2-0 overall record at the NDSU Tournament last week. She totaled a team-high 24 kills and averaged a team-best 4.00 per set. The Clarion, Iowa native also posted a .467 hitting percentage.

Middleton, who has recorded double figures in kills in each of her last four matches, contributed 10 kills with a .409 hitting percentage in the win over Portland State. She closed the weekend connecting on a career-high 14 kills with a .522 hitting percentage in the win over Toledo.

NDSU will be back in action at the Mountaineer Invitational on Thursday against Robert Morris at 11:30 a.m. CT, before taking on West Virginia at 6:00 p.m. CT.
