(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild picked up a 3-2 overtime win over Chicago in a preseason contest at the Xcel Energy Center on Saturday.
Ryan O’Rourke and Adam Beckman each scored in the first period for Minnesota, but the Wild allowed the game-tying goal with 63 seconds left in regulation. However, Connor Dewar scored in the first minute of overtime to give Minnesota the victory. The Wild are 3-1-0 in exhibition play, and they visit the Blackhawks on Thursday.
In other team news, Minnesota signed forwards Marcus Foligno and Mats Zuccarello to extensions over the weekend.
