(Eagan, MN) -- The Vikings will be without one of their top pass rushers for at least a month.
The Purple placed Marcus Davenport on injured reserve yesterday. Davenport injured his ankle during Minnesota's win over the Bears on Sunday. he edge rusher was one of the Vikings top acquisitions in free agency over the offseason, but he's only played in four of the first six games, and he'll have to be out for at least four more contests. Davenport has two sacks and seven tackles this season.
Minnesota activated kick returner Kene Nwangwu from the IR in a corresponding move.
