(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Timberwolves have locked down one of the best defenders in the league.
The Timberwolves signed forward Jaden McDaniels to a five-year extension worth $136 million yesterday. McDaniels has been a lights-out defender since being drafted by Minnesota in 2020. He averaged 12.1 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in 79 contests last season.
McDaniels and the Wolves open up the season with a game against Toronto tomorrow night.
