(Minneapolis, MN) — The voice of the Minnesota Twins is hanging up his headset.
The club announced yesterday that television play-by-play announcer Dick Bremer will be stepping away from the broadcast booth in order to take a special assistant role in the front office. Bremer began calling Twins games in 1983, and he announced nearly 5,000 contests over his 40-year career.
The team did not announce its plans for a new television announcer moving forward.
