(Eagan, MN) -- Anthony Barr is coming back to the Vikings.
The team signed the linebacker to its practice squad yesterday. The move came right after the team announced that linebacker Jordan Hicks had surgery on a bruised shin due to compartment syndrome. Barr was Minnesota's first-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, and he made four Pro Bowls during his eight-year tenure with the team. He made 58 tackles and had one sack in 14 games with the Cowboys last season.
The Vikings visit the Denver Broncos on Sunday night.
